Had a really great and informative walkthrough of the state of our roof. I learned a lot about this company and the product they use and will definitely be using them when I can replace our mossy roof. Please do yourself a favor and call and get an inspection done by them. You’ll get all the info you need.
I called DaBelle after I noticed I had a leaky roof. Janston came out to assess my roof and noticed it had more issues than just the leak. There was evidence of rusty nails, and poor ventilation. He talked about history of the company, the quality of workmanship, and the warranty. I felt comfortable with the price and the options to finance. Overall, it was a great experience.
I had a fantastic experience with this company and its exceptional employees - Brian, Chad, and Isaiah. Brian helped me with the initial appointment setup. Isaiah and Chad were the folks that visited my home to inspect my entire roof and attic.
They were not only friendly and polite but also incredibly efficient and punctual. Their clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend their services!
3.5 hour sales session …. All for a simple quote. Ken and Mateo were nice dudes but three and a half hours for a quote. Then …. They did some math on his iPhone and showed me $41,000 bucks for a siding job.
Meanwhile after 3.5 hours of talking about everything but the repair I thought they were moving in. I felt trapped in a redundant circle of nothing.
Thank you DeBella for the lengthily THREE AND A HALF HOUR kinda sorta quote.
Pressure sales isn’t for me and I’m going with a local guy who offers the same warranty and is HALF the price.
Again thanks for the information and education, no response is required for this review.
I was pretty disappointed with Mateo from DaBella. I had a low-pitch roof that was leaking due to the previous homeowner using the wrong materials and doing a poor job where they tied in the low-pitch roof to the main roof.
Mateo was very easy to talk to but told me that my entire roof would need to be replaced for a ballpark cost of $35k, that no roofing contractor would touch the repair, and even if I could find someone to replace the low-pitch and tie it in correctly I definitely wouldn't receive any sort of warranty on the work. He then proceeded to try and sell me on a $35k roof replacement, even after I reminded him the roof was only about 5-6 years old, and it was just the transition to low-pitch that was leaking. He also tried pushing a financing offer to do the whole roof if I couldn't afford the ~$35k now.
It's obvious I've been remodeling other parts of my house, and when I told Mateo I didn't need, and couldn't afford a $35k new roof he started making comments about how I must be spending "big money" elsewhere on my remodel if that was the case. He was here for about an hour, trying to keep me on the hook acting like he "might" be able to get the repair done, "if" I would agree to call him back if it ever came to needing a new roof. After I flat out told him I wouldn't be spending $35k on a new roof he handed me his card and said to call him if I changed my mind.
He also asked which other companies were coming out to provide quotes and strongly cautioned me against using one of them, which was very unprofessional. Coincidentally, the company I was cautioned against ended up getting my business because they provided a quick quote based on sqft, and offered a warranty.
Extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism here. Not cool.
Mitch & Chase from DaBella were the most friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, negotiable, band backwards to meet my needs, and truly awesome. They spent enough time with me to explain in and outs about everything I needed to know about contracts, detailed information . I would recommend these 2 guys to anyone. Thank you for your assistance and the time.
The scheduling manager, Emma, was provided with strict instructions that no one nor anything be at our house while we were out of town. While on vacation we received notification from our security system that items were being delivered. I immediately contacted the office as the agreement was nothing would happen until we were back. I was met with a cavalier, nonchalant attitude about people trespassing on our property when they were told NOT to be there. I spoke with Chris Jamerson, some sort of manager, who offered nothing more than shallow apologies and delayed the whole interaction while the delivery was completed. There was a certain feeling of condescension and Emma even felt the need to justify the actions with "Well we did give you a discount". I don't appreciate being patronized just because we went with the overstock option and saved 4k. The installation was great, impeccable work but having our home not treated with respect up front is enough for me never to recommend this place to anyone looking for a roof, they'll butter you up and then make you feel like they can do anything they want on your property because you "signed a contract". Garbage.
The consultation started out great, but it all went downhill when we were not ready to sign immediately. We wanted suggestions about siding and then was told it was the roof that needed to be fixed asap. This is all reasonable and probably true, and the price seemed fair, but I absolutely hate that the person would not take no for an answer and seemed unwilling to back off and leave and let us consider the offer. It was so uncomfortable and believe me I will not let another contractor come into my house to sit down and refuse to take no for an answer, we will be doing all negotiations outside where I can leave them if tactics are ever tried again. He was there for almost 3 hours, when 1.5 would have been more than enough to do inspection and give us the options and quote. Do people seriously fall for these tactics? No one just gets an offer and signs immediately on a $30k+ project, especially when roofing wasn’t even the initial concern going into the appointment.
